Beautifully situated in a beech wood near the Baltic Sea, only 200m away from the Eckernförde Bay, you will find our nature high rope course Altenhof.

On wire ropes, suspension bridges, climbing nets, ropeways, a mountain board as well as a bicycle in a height of 15m, you can, well secured swing from platform to platform. The adventure and experience are of the largest high rope course in the north has four levels of difficulty on 12 obstacle courses and has several accesses and exits. Thus, every visitor can find his own pace and experience fun and adventure.

In the summer months, we offer in addition, our full moon climbing with live music and an unique ambiance: Equipped with headlamps you climb high up into the trees in candle light.

If you want to celebrate your children's party here, you bring 7 children with you and have free admission on that day!

In addition, we offer with our FördeAkademie sustainable team trainings and eventful activities for companies, clubs, schools here with us or at your location. From the team challenge across the forest, raft building on the beach, archery with English longbows to the GPS-tour or, new in the programme, the Kieler city rally.

Opening times High Rope Course:

June, July, August

daily (Mon-Sun) from 10am, last admission 5pm

April and May, as well as September and October Sat/Sun/public holidays as well as school holidays daily from 10am

Tue - Fri from 1pm, last admission 4pm

For groups from 10 persons onwards, we will open the course also outside of opening times by arrangement!

Minimum Age:

7 years, minimum height 1,10m, from 1,40m and 13 years of age, the whole facility can be used.
