Half way between Kiel and Eckernförde is the animal park Gettorf situated.
850 animals of 150 species await your visit.
Amidst expansive well cared flower facilities you'll find exotic animal life from all over the world right in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein. Open-air facility and walk-in enclosures give you the opportunity for close contact with our four-legged and winged inhabitants.
Tropical hall and walk-in animals enclosures turn a visit even in bad weather into an experience.
New since 2010 the
'Crazy House'
in the Animal Park Gettorf.
The house can be looked at from the outside by all animal park visitors.
The interior of the house can be visited via a turnstile, an additional fee has to be paid.
Organiser and investor of the house is a Herr Dirk Oster from Hamburg.
